Some contemporary artistic practices bring a critical perspective to events, decisions or actions that profoundly transform our way of life.
As citizen/observer, the artist uses her or his tools to formulate reflections, doubts, needs and desires, and translate them into a work. Through projects that take real facts as their point of departure (political, cultural, social, economic or environmental facts), we wish to highlight approaches that reveal another narrative of reality, and that, by taking some critical distance, inspire new ways of thinking about relations between humans and about their relations with their environment.
The content should concern the actions of people and entities in civil society. The goal of these actions and strategies must be the concrete improvement of situations of social, political, economic, cultural or ecological conflict and injustice.
